I am now totally booked for House and Pet Sitting for 2026. Thankful for the best pet parents, I have been invited back to every place I was at last year. I will be returning to Florida, Iowa and Minnesota. I’m also taking a vacation to South Dakota to visit the National Parks. Stay tuned for cute pets and the amazing places I get to visit.

I am so ready for spring. It’s been in the 80’s the past couple of days in Missouri. How’s the temperature where you are?

The “Bags” in Wags and Bags represents my travels. When I visit a new state, I always take a picture of the map of the state. This picture of the state represents a blank canvas to me. As I visit or drive through a town on the map, I always highlight the towns I visit. I try to visit whatever google recommends as a highlight to each town and I grab as many pictures as I can. Some smaller towns might just be a picture of the city limit sign. For me these pictures represent part of my journey.

Missouri is my home state and yes I have visited most every town in the state. I have lived here my entire life. As time permits, I am going to revisit the Missouri towns.

My last dog sit was 2 weeks ago. I fell in love with Harper and Boone. They were so much fun. I was only with them for 4 days. Hopefully, I will see them again for a longer sit.

I’m back🙂. I took a small break from social media. Working 2 jobs and keeping up with social media was a bit overwhelming. I’m refreshed and feeling much better. Now to catch up on everything I have missed.

I woke up with a heavy heart this morning. My daughter is a deputy with our county’s sheriff department. Our neighboring county lost 2 deputies and 2 more were injured in a manhunt that was the result of a routine traffic stop. Keeping those affected families in my thoughts and prayers.

Are your dogs strictly indoor or outdoor pets?

I am struggling with the current dog sit that I am on. Family lives on 3 acres with a German Shepherd and a cat. Both are strictly outdoor pets. Mother Nature decided we needed 1 more artic breeze this weekend so it was cold. I know GSD are adaptable to cold weather since they are double coated. The guilt I felt when the dog was staring in the front door while I was watching tv was real.

Tell me that I am not alone.

My daughter’s dog will eat either as long as they are getting treats. They do like milk bones dog treats. Milk-Bone
