Our vision is to see Africa transformed one community at a time through permanent worship structures that empower the local church.

A tabernacle built for the church becomes a gift to the whole community.

In Chanjowe, Zambia, the structure serves far beyond Sunday mornings — hosting community events, governmental meetings, and gatherings that bring the whole village together.
This shared access gives the church a credibility and presence it never had before. When the church becomes a cornerstone of community life, the doors of influence open wide.

That's the kind of impact a permanent structure makes possible.

Our work at Africa Tabernacles is built on measurable, accountable success — tracking real outcomes in real communities so we can steward resources well.

But we're not just thinking about one church or one village; we're thinking about strategic kingdom multiplication that scales. Every workshop trained, every structure built, and every leader raised up is part of a larger vision.

When the foundation is solid — spiritually and structurally — the growth is lasting.

For so many of our pastors, the day their tabernacle is dedicated is the day a long-held prayer is finally answered.

For Pastor Morgan in Zambia, who had faithfully led his congregation for five years under a temporary structure, the completed tabernacle was more than a building — it was God's confirmation of the call on his life. Tears were shed, dances were danced, and a community was forever changed. This is why we do what we do.

A permanent structure changes everything.

Since a tabernacle was built in Chanjowe, Zambia, the church has seen children's ministry and women's ministry take root, new opportunities for prayer and outreach emerge, and even a new pastor raised up from within the congregation.

What once struggled to grow under a temporary grass and pole structure is now flourishing in every area.

Every build is an opportunity to share what matters most.

When tabernacles are built throughout Africa, conversations about the gospel flow naturally — leading to prayers and life-changing decisions to follow Jesus. This is something we pursue intentionally everywhere we go, because a new structure is only the beginning.

We're not just constructing buildings; we're creating moments where hearts are opened and lives are transformed.

Our mission goes beyond building structures — it's about building up people.
Through local fabrication workshops across Ivory Coast, Kenya, Zambia, Ethiopia, and Uganda, we train community members in welding, metalworking, and construction. Every steel component is sourced locally, strengthening African economies from the ground up.

Our goal is simple: transferring full ownership to local leaders. When communities are equipped, the impact multiplies for generations.

Thousands of churches across Africa are growing — but without a permanent place to gather.

Since 1991, Africa Tabernacles has partnered with national churches across 50 countries to build permanent worship structures that give thriving congregations a home and bring the gospel within walking distance of every community.

We don't build for Africa. We build with Africa.
Permanent structures. Eternal impact.

The term "tabernacle" can be confusing — but to Africa Tabernacles, a tabernacle is simply a permanent worship structure.

It's where the church meets on Sunday. And where the community gathers the rest of the week. It's a building that says: something lasting was built here, for you.

In communities across Africa, a tabernacle isn't just a place to worship. A source of pride. A place of belonging. A physical sign that the local church is here to stay.

That's what we partner with national churches to build — one community at a time.
