I dont have much left in me for the day, its getting HOT in the shop. Gotta dig out the fans and whatnot as summer is here!

Not going to finish this one up today, its gonna have to wait as I need to order a new ball endmill to make the last cut. (thought I had the size I need but I dont). Still gotta run the last top window and then cut the gills on both sides.

I will get back to replying to emails tomorrow night.

These were from a few weeks ago, this pile (minus the red prostock barrel) was for . Aparently this will be the last of the work from him. I was fired because my backlog is too long and I missed a cut on one body after a few years of no mistakes. 🫡

Which is great news for everyone else, just means my backlog will shrink and turnaround times will get significantly faster.

I have been replying to emails and I still got quite a list to reply too. I will continue to reply to emails for the next few evenings. If you are waiting for a reply, keep an eye on your inbox.

I dont get multi-page requestes very often but when I do they come at once.

These 2 different projects are on my bench/table currently and they are gonna take some time to complete. Today, I am getting all of the math for the cuts and prep work done so I can minimize the down time while at the shop.

Once these are done, the line will start moving quick as it will be back to the normal stuff.

As promised, I will start replying to emails tonight. Have a spectacular Sunday!

Errm, looks like we are back to this again...

Side note: The next 2 boxes in my line after the barrels I do today, are gonna take a week each is my best guess. They are both very involved projects that are gonna require some dedication to details and perfection.

I am sorry for the delays but I am doing my best to keep the line moving. If you have any questions, please shoot me a message here. I am just as behind on my emails as I am on my work load and thats to help ease my backlog times. Once I get past these 2 big projects, I will start to reply to emails and open the flood gates some.

As per the usual, I forgot to post pics the other day. This was a batch of bodies from last weekend. All got feedneck jobs and then the one got 2 windows and a little custom milling on the lower tube. Took me a day to figure the cosmetic cut as I just couldent imagine what would look good but I think I nailed it.

I am taking this entire long weekend off as I been working several weeks in a row without taking a day or 2 to myself.

I still have more work pics to share which I will do later this weekend. Have a spectacular weekend.

I havent had a chance to do custom like this in a while. Just a little sneak peak behind the curtain. Its not just mount it in and cut. LOTS OF MATH and critical thinking to make it mirrored cuts on both sides. Gotta ensure I dont go too deep on the lower tube and placement of the rail windows is critical.

Time to finish the other side and call it a day. I think I am on barrels tomorrow, I honestly dont remember though.
