It is with great sadness that I write to inform you that my dad and founding partner of Waddington Electronics has passed away.
Waddington Electronics was founded in 1956 by my grandfather John (Jack) Waddington and my dad Donald Waddington. It originally focused on machine and industrial wiring.
Today, Waddington’s product line has expanded to over 60 models and sizes of roll feeds, six different stock straighteners, Sona-Trol ultrasonic loop controls, and other industrial electronic products.
In his later years, Don spent time in the machine shop, making the most precise parts of the feeds and straighteners.
The company was sold in 2018 to Pressroom Equipment and relocated to Springfield Missouri where the product line continues to be produced.
