Country life, is mostly peaceful. However, if an animal goes missing, it’s rarely a happy ending. However… this time… it is. This guinea went missing and was gone for 3 days. Then he showed up, injured and weak. We put him in our shed and after 3 days he went missing from the shed. I feared the worst! Then I found him, hobbling around, and living his best life. He is a very tough bird. He loves to be outside eating the bugs, and I’m happy for him. ❤️

My brain doesn’t always work like it should. I had a lot of head injuries as a child, and had epilepsy as well. Living with CPTSD, depression, anxiety, adhd… imposter syndrome, perimenopause… never feeling good enough… I tend to obsess.. and aim for perfection, which in reality is unattainable. 🙃

I love this kitty plush… however, I overlooked details in the face. I tried 3 times to adjust it… then decided the structural integrity just wasn’t sound enough… PLUS… something was “off”. Finally realizing the muzzle was TOO poofy!!! This is the first time I’ve used Shannon Fabrics bunny fabric and it’s thick. And to gather it in such a small area, it was too much. So… I’m hoping to finish the face today! 🙃

I wouldn’t be able to do this without the love and support from my spouse. They are INCREDIBLE!! When I told them I wanted to make the face over, they just asked for the pattern pieces and happily cut my fabric for me. ❤️ My son is also so encouraging… I am incredibly blessed. And then there is ALL OF YOU… my amazing friends, family and supporters… I love you all so much! Thank you for the friendship, kindness, support, and the love!

Random things I saw today…. 🙃 Inspiration is everywhere.

WIP… NFS (commission kitty)… not easy to photograph… and some details won’t come until later in the process. Pretty happy with the progress though… considering all things.

So today has been a day. 😢
I made this sock monkey, for a lady in hospice that loves sock monkeys. I’ll mail it tomorrow. First sock monkey I’ve ever made. It’s not perfect, but hopefully make her smile.

My spouse went to the doctor today. They’ve been having joint pain. The doctor thinks it’s carpal tunnel, but noticed that a lot of her joints are inflamed. So… they took 12 vials of blood to run tests. My anxiety is through the roof… so all good vibes appreciated.
