Stop # 5 at Stockton Lake is in the books!
88 anglers went out on some very adverse conditions, as usual. Anglers reported catching several fish, but bigger fish were hard to get. Everyone had their strategies set, but Mother Nature had another plan. It dumped over 6 inches of rain in a 24 hour period, trashing several areas with rapidly rising water.


Taking first place, and definitely no stranger to the check line, was Jackie Davis with 14.48. He ran the Big Sac side and caught numerous keepers by flipping bushes with a signature jig and plastic. $4500 + $5000 gift certificate to Anglers Port Marine + $50Apex Tackle Co. gift card



Greg Snider took second place with 14.37, fishing the Big Sac side. Greg caught his fish by flipping a creature bait and a chatter bait in isolated bushes. He took home $3600

Brandon Rummel took third place with 12.78. Brandon also concentrated on the Big Sac side, flipping as many bushes as he could with a mix of creature bait and jig, focusing his efforts where there was runoff and big rock around. Brandon won $2500 + $500 Nitro Rewards
