We want to take a moment to recognize Ben Thomas for doing an amazing job! Ben is the lead developer of our virtual reality platform that enables intelligence analysts to immerse themselves into a highly complex set of data to better understand the operational environment and nuances of what is occurring within the battle space. Great job, Ben!!

We are so excited to announce that one of our Skillbridge Interns, Mia, completed her internship last week and has accepted a full-time position here at Red Berry Innovations as an IT Generalist! Congratulations on your completion of the Skillbridge program and we are so excited to have you on board continuing forward!

This week, we welcomed Allen Schultz and Justin Weeks to the Skillbridge Intern team at RBI!

A little bit about them:

"My name is Allen and I am a Cyber Security Engineering Skillbridge Intern at Red Berry Innovations. I spent 20 Years in the Air Force as a Nuclear Weapon Specialist, but I've always had a passion for technology and a goal to enter into the IT world following my military career. My main hobbies revolve around tinkering and working with whatever tech I could get my hands on. I recently completed my undergrad in IT Management in 2020, which solidified my goal to enter this field. I have a great family and spend much of my free time with my wife, 10 year old daughter, 2 dogs and 3 cats."

"My name is Justin Weeks, I served as an IT in the Navy for 8 years and I am a Pe*******on Testing Skillbridge Intern at Red Berry Innovations. I am currently working towards a Bachelors degree in Cyber Security & Information Assurance. I have recently become an avid golfer and I also love 3D Printing, Streaming Video Games, baking, and exploring the city and outdoors with my wife, Kylie!"

This week, we welcomed Jake Wilmes to the RBI Team as apart of the intern program.

A bit about Jake: “My name is Jake Wilmes and I am a Machine Learning Skillbridge Intern at Red Berry Innovations. My education is in Economics, and I will begin an MS in Data Science program at Northwestern next month. My hobbies include woodworking, hunting, fishing, and most importantly, spending as much time as possible with my sons, Hank and Jack, and my wife, Erin.”

Yesterday we welcomed Chantelle Moseley to the RBI Team! She is working as a Machine Learning Intern while also attending the University of Nebraska at Omaha, studying Data Science & Operational Research. She loves to travel; her favorite destination is Tokyo, Japan, where part of her family lives. Welcome to the team, Chantelle!

Happy belated birthday to one of our Machine Learning Engineers, Jude Gussman! His birthday was last week and we loved celebrating with him at our team meeting. We hope you had a great day, Jude! 🎈🎂🥳

Last week, one of our Machine Learning Engineers, Jude Gussman, provided a class on the different learning techniques within machine learning to our DoD Skillbridge interns. Jude is a great member of the team, who is always willing to share his experience and knowledge with others. Thanks for the impromptu class, Jude!

On Friday, we were honored to host Scott Benton, an elected member of the British Parliament, and hear from his perspective how our countries are working together to protect freedom around the globe.

We have been talking a lot about core values lately. They are the map that helps our team navigate every decision that is made. Our second core value is Amplify. Similar to the idea of "leave it better than you found it", we strive to amplify everything we do so that it is better than ever before. We go above and beyond to not just meet a goal, but to crush the goal.

Happy Friday Funday! Today the team + their families spent the afternoon at Papio Bowl for a few games of bowling. We all had a great time!
