We’re excited to see you in the morning as we recap an awesome week of VBS, continue our study in Luke, and celebrate all that our Heavenly Father has done for us! Before firing up the grill and enjoying some family time in the afternoon, we’d love for you to come and fellowship with us at South Gate at 9 for Life Groups and 10:15 for Worship - we have a spot here just for you!

It's hard to believe we only have one night left.

Four nights ago, Illumination Station began with excitement and anticipation. Since then, we've seen kids build friendships, worship together, learn God's Word, and discover that Jesus is the Light of the World.

As we look back on the week so far, we're thankful for every smile, every lesson learned, every song sung, and every opportunity to share the hope of the Gospel.

The finish line is in sight, but we're trusting God to continue working in hearts as we head into our final night. We can't wait to see what tonight holds! 💡✨

Three nights in, and Illumination Station continues to shine bright! 💡✨

This week has been filled with worship, games, crafts, laughter, and unforgettable memories, but our favorite moments have been watching kids engage with God's Word and learn more about Jesus.

From tug-of-war battles on the field to singing together in worship and learning biblical truths in the classroom, every part of VBS has pointed to one incredible truth: Jesus is the Light of the World.

We are thankful for the friendships being built, the truths being learned, and the opportunity to share the hope of Christ with the next generation.

💡Two nights of Illumination Station are officially in the books💡

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for all God is doing.

Night 2 was another reminder of why we love VBS. It takes dozens of volunteers, countless hours of preparation, and a church family willing to serve - but seeing kids encounter the truth of God’s Word makes every moment worth it!

From energetic games and creative activities to joyful worship and intentional Bible teaching, every part of VBS points to one purpose: helping kids know the hope that is found in Jesus Christ.

We are thankful for every volunteer, every family who has entrusted their children to us, and every kid who has filled our halls with excitement and joy.

The week is flying by, but we believe God is still working, and we cannot wait to see what the rest of Illumination Station holds! 💡✨

Night 1 was full of fun, smiles, worship, and most importantly truth from God’s Word. The adventure continues tonight, and we would love for your family to join us!

Today was a monumental day in the life of our church as we voted unanimously as a congregation to ordain Braden Spurling into Pastoral Ministry!

Braden has served so well as our Student Minister over the last year and a half, and today we affirmed that we see Titus 1, 1 Timothy 3, and 1 Peter 5 in his life and ministry.

We’re so thankful the Lord led the Spurling’s to South Gate, and we’re excited for what He has in store in the seasons to come for their family and for our church 🙌

“You also be ready, because the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” - Luke 12:40

This Sunday we can’t wait to worship with you and celebrate the fact that Jesus Christ will return 🙌 As a Christian, this truth gives you hope as you remember that you have a whole eternity to live free from the pain and stain of sin! We look forward to this day - but, until then, we have work to do as individuals and as a church!

2 things in addition to our normal Sunday schedule:
1. Sunday night is our VBS kickoff! Come ready to participate, serve, and pray over our students, volunteers, staff, and Kristi!
2. We’re excited to be voting on our ordination council’s recommendation for Braden Spurling to be ordained as a pastor immediately after service!

We can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store on Sunday - join us 🙏

It has been an awesome start to our SBC annual meeting as we’ve commissioned 63 full-time IMB missionaries, heard reports from multiple groups, lifted 20,000 voices to the Lord in song, and sat under the preaching of God’s Word! There is a sweet spirit in this place 🙌

Please be in prayer for the all of the messengers this afternoon (especially our 7) and tomorrow as they continue to worship, hear reports, and vote on important matters!
