The Detour

Tonight I walking downtown with my hula hoop, just listening to music and vibing , when a truck of teenage boys rolled up first they asked me what I was listening to , but before leaving the driver said “you should probably get a gun first you’re gonna be out here” . Like really ? What is going on in this town lately , I was born in raised in a pretty dangerous town , and I honestly didn’t feel as much negative energy as I do here. I am a beacon of light and love and I’m always trying to spread positivity, but in this town it feels like that has made me a huge target to hate and violence. I am only hoping that I can begin to try and make a difference for my son and all other youth , so that they will never feel scared to be themselves . Springfield needs to change !!!
