Our hives are well insulated, double walled, deep frame, horizontal long box hives. They are compatible with Langstroth frames. Production of superior bee hives.

We produce exceedingly well made, double walled, insulated, deep frame, horizontal, long box hives. The walls and floor have an R-Value of 7+, as compared to a conventional bee hive with just less than a 1 R-value. The Pitched, vented roof and attic area have an R-Value of 12. The roof is coated with Conklin rubber roofing which reflects 85% of the solar rays to keep the hive cooler in the summer. The hive has 4" eaves on 3 sides and an 8" eave on the south side for weather protection & passive solar warmth. The roof assembly hinges up easily, and locks in the upright position to allow ample access to the hive interior. The ceiling is segmented so visual inspections of the frames can be made with minimal disturbance of the bees. Our hives will hold 30 double deep Langstroth frames, so in other words, 60 frames.
