The peony has opened up!! And the color has changed to a pale yellow.
➡️I’m also sorry but I won’t have anything out for Mother’s Day.
Time this week has been focused on wedding flowers for my nephew and his lovely fiancé. Pictures coming soon!

I’m a little extra happy today 🌸

I planted 50 bare root peonies 2 years ago and I have FOUR beautiful blooms (39 bare roots have survived which means A LOT of peony flowers for my flower friends soon) I honestly didn’t expect much these first two years so this feels like such a sweet surprise.

Funny fact: even though I grow lots of flowers for people….I don’t often have bouquets in my house. The dorky photo is me… hopping in the truck after cutting these b/c it’s cold and I don’t want them getting bit by the cold. So it only seems appropriate for the first bouquet of the season to go to me right?!! 💕

I will have some Mother’s Day items this week so be on the look out for an upcoming post!
