Being a mom and a photographer is emotional. because I see the significance in the pair of sneakers you’re probably going to probably pack up before the year is up….they’re probably already squeezing the toes of the not so little boys you swear just started walking yesterday.
The magic of lifestyle sessions. Freezing what right now feels like just another day, but will one day be a hazy bittersweet memory.
I see the grumpy old dog that taught you how to be a mama before you were “Mommy.”
I see the way you look at your now middle child, feeling like he was the newborn coming home just yesterday.
I see the way your eyes light up when you watch the boys race around the front yard.
This moment might not be forever… but I hope that in 30 years, when you’re missing these “just another day” moments, these photos can take you home… even if it’s for just a second. 🌸

Then comes your session.

it was a crime to not originally showcase these as the landscapes that they truly are. this field was absolutely perfect for wide shots. the sun was everything and honestly, a crop doesn’t do it justice.
