If you’re a customer of our North Pole office, we apologize for any delays in service. It’s a busy time for us treating Santa’s workshop, making sure his reindeer are tick-free and ready to fly.
Ordinarily, Mosquito Joe would caution you from bringing a tree into your home. But ‘tis the season so we’ll just offer a few tips to make sure you don’t bring pests in with your festive fir. Leave the tree in your garage for a few days for pests to escape. Then shake the tree vigorously to remove any stragglers and vacuum any pests that are on the floor. After that, you should be ready to enjoy a pest-free holiday!

It’s the fall season and most of us enjoy a little break from the yard work. We can let the grass grow a little longer, put off getting leaves out of the garden beds ‘til spring, and just enjoy the crisp air. Thing is, longer grass and areas covered by brush and leaves are the places pests love to hide out. We’re not trying to take your joy away and saying you need to keep cutting the lawn. If given the choice, fleas prefer to feed on pets – especially dogs or cats – opposed to other hosts. Your goldfish is probably ok. But if the pet host becomes too crowded with fleas, those that can’t latch on to the dog or cat will turn to you for its food source. The simple solution – Call Mosquito Joe.

After feeding, an adult female tick can lay between 1,500 and 5,000 eggs. And then the whole cycle starts over again in a few months but with a lot more ticks. There’s just not room in your outdoor spaces for all those ticks AND the fun you like to have. Call Mosquito Joe and we’ll make outside fun for you and not a breeding ground for those ticks.
