Hey Everyone! Come on out to the annual Texas Crawfish Festival in Old Town Spring. There is a lot of great entertainment scheduled not to mentioned the good food - boiled crawfish, etouffee, and much more. Hope to see you here!!! And don't forget, I am at 211 Main Street in Old Town Spring.

Hello everyone - it has been sometime since i've posted on Aunt Tipsey's page. So here we go!!! Aunt Tipsey's has a new schedule - we are open on Friday evenings 5:30 pm - 7:00 p.m., Saturdays 10:00 am - 7:00 pm, and Sundays 11:00 am - 6:30 pm. I can always be reached on my sell phone 281-475-7310. I have been working on several art projects and am going to update this page soon with pictures. BTW - come out to Springfest - March 31 - April 1st, in Old Town Spring, of course. We are having an ART WALK on the 31st and there will be several shops, galleries, and even the winery open to much later that evening. Come on out, join us!!!!!! I will be posting new art pieces online soon!

The estate features an enormous amount of very precious items including vintage, antique, and modern furniture, many nice primitives (dough bowls, kitchen items) vintage lithograph tea tray, oak side table, quilts, bow front oak dresser w/mirror, vintage dulcimer, vintage framed advertising, original advertising (Bull Durham To***co ad), lots of antique and vintage kitchen utensils, vintage brass torch lamp (in working order), 1864 Civil War Print by Matthew Brady, Civil War pen and ink framed print, Boney Chevrolet framed advertisement, a Danny Phifer signed and numbered print entitled “Setting II,” turn of the century wall mount magazine rack, box lot of little bottles, porcelain shaving mug, vintage window mirror frame, various shelves (some Shabby Chic), antique china tea set, antique quilts, GloFire stove, granite ware, drop leaf table and chairs. There are also project pieces such as old doors, old dresser with mirror base, old Philco radio, old steamer trunk, and more. Miscellaneous items such as a turobuilt lawnmower, desk and chair, baby stroller and car seat, large dog carrier, modern daybed. There will also be several “box lots” - one price for entire box. (sigh) sold my tee-bird pedal car this weekend!!

I am sooooooooooo happy. I have been looking for a 1950's pedal car for years but they have become so terribly expensive. Well, today i got one. It's ready for restoration. Has original tires and hubcaps - not rust thru anywhere - it is soooo cool!!! Any interest, let me know.

Got some really cute "watermelon" folk art decor - several wooden watermelon pieceds, a cute welcome watermelon hanging plaque, a big watermelon basket, and a framed print for the wall. Any interest let me know. Pictures to follow.

Our "mission" at Aunt Tipsey's Treasure Trove is to put a dent, even if just a small one, in the preservation of old things. This may just mean rescuing them, restoring them, re-purposing them, and/or even redesigning them and to help the environment with what we do - less trash, more treasures.
