The Happy Peddler is helping say good bye to a truly fantastic friend by sharing an unbelievable collection and sending it out into the world to live on. We are hosting the estate sale this weekend and it is a truly fantastic and unusual sale. It’s a trip down memory lane filled with a lifetime of collecting toys, tons of glassware, vintage sewing notions, antiques, and a collection of signed books both old and new. There are Over 500 antique toys from army men to cupie dolls and almost anything you can imagine in between, tin toys, dolls, antique educational toys, way to many to list. There’s lots of antique furniture, vintage hats and hat boxes , antique purses, boxes of antique and vintage jewelry, collectible sewing notions, Fenton glassware, Fostoria glassware, lots of nesting Pyrex sets, antique tin boxes, antique and vintage holiday decor, Elvis collectibles, dandy butter churn, Victorian art, lots of roses- on almost anything. There are so many things to list that I couldn’t possibly list everything here, so please look at the pictures and know there’s even more being posted as I fast as I can.

Well it’s been over a year since the WOOF Pet Bakery and our family has been able to come and see all our furry friends as a result of COVID-19, but we’re back! Hey everyone! Having an event with little notice, my apologies, but I have to share it with you! We have been sitting on what I think is a pretty good Estate Sale do to the lockdown and before things change want to have it! This sale is not local but isn’t so far away you couldn’t make the trip. We will be in Columbus, TX Friday May 15th, Saturday May 16th, and Sunday May 17th. The address will be made available Thursday afternoon. There will be no early shopping, however if you unable or don’t want to be present, you can buy over the phone during sale hours. I know that times are a little scary and unpredictable but we will be doing everything we can to keep you and our staff safe. Hello everyone!! First and foremost I want to thank everyone that came out to see us yet again last weekend! It’s great to see the old friends and really great to make some new ones. We are at it again, slipping into that chef’s coat and back in the kitchen cooking up a storm for you! We are still participating in this new and creative food market during these very difficult times. It’s a DRIVE THRU MARKET and this week it’s rumored you will be aloud to walk through as well. What a great idea! This Thursday May 7th we will be selling at Willowbrook Mall behind Macaroni Grill from 2-7 and Friday May 8th at Deerbrook mall in front of Macy’s from 10-5, look for the tents! There are all kinds of Different vendors selling different types of food. In honor of Mother’s Day weekend we have increased the menu and added food to share with drop by family as well as Take home and heat dinners! We will have King Ranch chicken casseroles, Chicken alfredo with bow tie pasta and broccoli, shepherds pie layered with beef and veggies, and herb crusted pork tenderloin with roasted veggies. We also have our herb roasted chicken salad, Mango Salsa, Chunky Guacamole, 7 Layer Dip and 3 cheese spinach artichoke dip. All homemade, all fresh, great to share with family. We’ll have traditional beer bread, great toasted with our chicken salad. Don’t think I would forget your sweet tooth. We’ll have homemade banana pudding, chocolate chip cookies, dark chocolate dipped peanut butter crunch cookies, brownies with peanut butter cream cheese frosting, and special for Mother’s Day, small New York cheesecake with fruit topping. Good morning everyone! Well it seems that the Roundtop Antique Show is yet another victim of the coronavirus and is being suspended. However we are selling at the Huntsville Antique Show this weekend. Come out and take advantage of what I am sure will be a smaller crowd yet still packed with great antiques and fun stuff. Well hello everyone. I know I don’t post like I should but today needing some positive thoughts. Last nights storm hit Roundtop and Warrenton really bad and I am in my way to see the damages. ANOTHER GREAT ESTATE SALE!!

Well we have another great estate sale getting ready to begin. This sale is a little bit different then one of usual sales because it is for one of long time loved friends. For any of you who came by our shop in old town spring during the holidays you will remember Joe and Karen that sold the hand painted children’s things out front. They were two of the nicest people to ever join the peddler family. After a long battle with multiple illnesses our sweet Joe passed away on May 4th. He was survived by Karen who was a trooper and moved forward the best she could and without warning she took ill just a few weeks later. Karen passed on June 2nd. They will be missed very much. I spoke with Karen 2 days before she passed in the hospital and it was her wish that we take care of their estate and make the process as easy for their children as possible. After 2 weeks of helping to organize and make ready their estate, the sale is here. Came out and and she the great treasures left behind. As joe and Karen were getting ready for the holiday season when he took sick we have a lot of their hand painted things and this will be the last time to get them.
