As we stuff our faces today and give thanks to those who came before us and those with us currently, I would like to extend my gratitude to members both past and present. Without yall, there would be no Empire. So, thank you, each and every one of you 🙏🏼

Empire Boxing will be closing its doors for good...

at its current location, and moving to:

10801 Spring Cypress Rd Ste #9
Houston, Tx 77070

Due to high retention and constant wait lists the past couple of years, Empire Boxing will be moving to a more accommodating space in a couple of weeks.

the last training day at the current location will be this Wednesday, November 27th. Everyone come on out to the last training class this Wednesday for a proper send-off.

Training at the new location will begin December 9th
.. I'm going to take a much needed Thanksgiving weekend to stuff my face and spend the following week prepping the new location 👍🏼.

I'll keep you posted with updates on the new location during the week after Thanksgiving.

Sorry for the scare and the sappy music everyone, that was mostly for the skeptics. I'm sure they were thrilled & let down all at the same time, reading that first line lol 😆🤣

if you come in through our doors, you leave your bu****it at the door, trust the process, put the hard work in & stay dedicated, and you will find success along the way.

This is a great example of 4 competitors from both our Boxing & Muay Thai team putting the work in, squaring their s**t away, trusting the process, and dominating this past month.

and It isn't just this past month... year after year, we create champs!

We started this year with 3 Golden Glove Champions, competed from Texas to Florida, and back again, 2024 has been a dominant team performance all around 👊🏽 ✊🏽 great job team 👏 many more successes to come!

Both guys put on good performances tonight and earned Unanimous decision wins over tough competition. Mistakes were made, but we will get right back to the gym and sharpen up. We'll be back that much sharper the next go round 👊🏽 ✊🏽

Tournament Champions 🏆 Congratulations, Juan & Omar!

I'm very proud of you guys. you put the hard work in at the gym, and it paid off. Training amongst champions within our walls helped pave the way to your successes today ✊🏽

Juan had 3 tough fights in a row starting on Friday and was sharp executing game plan strategy. Made mistakes, but kept a steady head, listened to instructions not only between rounds but throughout, and was able to adapt and overcome. 3 tough fights from 3 tough competitors from 3 good gyms 🙏🏼

Omar came out with a fire in his belly for his championship bout, he delivered a good performance, made a few mistakes but made adjustments between rounds and continued to push the pace, landing excellent combo's, changing levels, landing great body and head shots throughout his rounds to claim a Unanimous decision 👌🏽 🙌

Great weekend of fights, 2 boxers, 4 fights, clean sweep 4-0 👌🏽 👏

Super proud of Lily. Last week we didn't have a fight but yesterday she went out and did her thing!. She put the fear of God into her opponentI For this tournament, i was offered to place her in the next weight up, which for Lily, she would have to gain over 3lbs in weight just to fight!

Going into this fight, her opponent had every advantage. She had the height, weight and reach on Lily. As soon as Lily hit her opponent(Lily is 99lbs but hits like a male 150lbs!), she backed off and failed to fight back for two whole rds. The ref had to urge the other girl to fight back in the 2nd rd because she was afraid to get hit by Lily. Her opponent decided to fight back finally in the 3rd rd the last 10 seconds of the fight. is this how you score fights ?
Somehow, had the fu**in audacity to give the fight to the other girl, now how in Stevie Wonders glasses did you manage to see that outcome? The ref literally had to urge the other girl to fight back in the 2nd got damn rd!
We've been down this rd before going against coordinaters friends at the "bigger" gyms. you have to only assume it's not how good your boxer is or what you know, it's WHO you know.. you guys are a fckn joke.

This is the reason I travel for fights for my amateur boxers lately.

it's embarrassing for the other girl to have been awarded a split decision over a girl she was scared s**tless over and had every advantage over, only to get outboxed and out worked.

Lily, you won that fight, I'm so sorry you trained hard only to be screwed over by biased judges.

I know coaches ranting about being "screwed" by judges isn't a good look, but if you were there, you would know we got fckd without consent 😉
