Every Saturday, Burén Bakery ✖️ Cemayá will be sharing complimentary Puerto Rican Coffee at our studio; not as something you have to buy, but as a little invitation to stay.
To sit with us.
To talk.
To meet someone new.
or simply enjoy a quiet moment over coffee.

The name also carries a piece of home with it, inspired by “El Café de las Dos” at my grandmother’s house, where coffee is never really just about the coffee. It is the person who prepares it for you, and who is sitting across you.

One night in May,
we were imagining.
Probably dreaming about doing things that, back then, felt impossible.

Tonight, in September,
we’re still dreaming…
just with more strength,
more certainty,
and an endless amount of gratitude.

Now, there are more people watching, believing in what we’re building, inspiring us, and reminding us to keep believing,
in this, in ourselves.

🔮 • This is the real voice of one of our friends, from the moment we told her about Cemayá was starting to become real.

We are so grateful for the people who have been beside us throughout the process, and equally grateful for all the new people who have come into our life through this journey. 🪭🪄

Cemayá is still very much a work in progress, and honestly, that’s one of our favorite parts. Come for a walk, explore the town and find us in our 〰️ hidden, unexpected shop. We’ll love to have you. 🪴
