This 2000’s kitchen got a major overhaul. The customer originally discussed having all new cabinets put in, to remodel and I suggested a facelift for 1/2 the cost. The new countertop and backsplash are coming soon (not me) Stage 1 in the books.

All new custom shaker style doors and drawers feature Blum Soft close hinges.

All the painting was done by V&O Renovations who did a FANTASTIC Job! Using Renner paint

The kitchen island was wrapped with nickel gap planks and trimmed.

Under the cabinets I made some custom pull out drawers spec’d to the cabinet width.

Day 3 of this kitchen overhaul. Teaming up with the great V&O Renovations ! We added a wrap to the island earlier, finished up the taping process and now sanding. Giving this 2003 home a 2024 upgrade. I’ll be making all new doors and drawers.

Customer needed a deck built for this unused space to bring it life.

That gorgeous wood you see is called IPE. Ipe wood decking will last a lifetime. Expected to last beyond 75 years, this extremely dense hardwood is naturally resistant to decay, moisture, fungi, and termites. And is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!

2x8 were anchored into the concrete so it is not sitting on the floor. 2x8’s were used to create the frame with deck tape to protect. Hidden fasteners made the deck flawless.

The customer is doing a full remodel and couldn’t find a vanity that was 34.5 inches wide- CALL THE EXPERT!!!

3. Warm it back up with barnwood oak.
4. Sealed with water based polyurethane, sanded between coats

It’s hard to believe the before and after on this build. In the modern office we work from home and this customer had big dreams and ideas.

For those that know me personally know the crazy summer and fall with my family’s medical issues. Mighty Medic came to a screeching halt several times in the middle of a big project. I’m truly blessed to have customers that gave me the space and time to tend to my family.

Here is the completed custom Home Office build to a wonderful residence in the Artavia neighborhood. Everything is built from scratch.

1st wall, custom border for a wine fridge, double doors across the bottoms. Electrical outlets were moved to accommodate accent lighting.

2nd wall, matching drawers across the wall and island. Adjustable shelving through out. 2 grommets were placed for the desk monitors.

Topped the weekend off with these beautiful 9ft built-ins. Featuring adjustable shelves, shaker style cabinet doors and a false top for lights. The design was done by Legacy Remodel and Design LLC. I was put to the task to bring the plans to life. Lights to be installed later by an electrician.

-Maple base, poplar wood for face frame and doors

Yes Ludacris, these were custom made, customer paid and they were custom fitted. - I'll see my self out.

First project of 2023.
Laid about 400 linear feet of baseboard in this new Renovation project through out the entire house. All in all about 3 days worth of work. Tight corners and a little caulking on top, paint is next 👌

This home originally had a massive 8 inch thicc cedar mantle the owner dubbed "The train track". This was replaced with a custom cut 2" Maple board.
Shout out to Dakota Lumber for supplied the raw board and maple corbels. The backings to the corbels were routed out to give some depth.
Stain - driftwood followed by 3 coats of a water based polyurethane.

Drywall hero!
Plumbers left a doozy, but it needed to be done to access all the pipes. The homeowners switched from galvanized to Pex.
I was able to restore the wall back to new.

DOOR DASH but with DOORS!!! Can't wait to see the customer paint and install these!!!

Transformation Tuesday

I took this standard boring laundry room and brought it up to HGTV code.

Walls- shiplap nickel gap boards with matching trim below and above. Painted with Sherwin Williams HGSW7071 - Gray Screen

Cabinets - custom red oak wood, stained with expresso/ebony blend and sealed. Adjustable shelving in all cabinets with liberty 3" pulls. Topped with red oak crown moulding.The middle cabinet was placed on casters to allow easy access to the back.

Shelves and counter - Custom cut butcher block with 3 coats of urethane to seal. I rounded off the edges for a softer look.

I'm happy, customers are stoked!!! Who's next???
