Our Featured PIZZA this week will be a “Twisted Jenn’s Hawaiian”...with Red Sauce, GRILLED Chicken, Prosciutto, Onion, Peppers, PINEAPPLE and Three Cheese...but if you have been here you know..we will still make it the way you want it!

We are still making our regular Cocoa Bombs but we are now offering some fancy Heart Shaped Cocoa Bombs with or without including a Cookie or Chocolate Candies. We will quote you a price for Quantity discounts. Great idea for group gatherings or sledding parties. We will deliver locally or ship for you to address of your request. We individually wrap all Bombs!

Well it’s finally 2021...I’m feeling like we are still loaded down with “Left Over” 2020....and I’m not talking about Turkey and Gravy!
Lots to still fret about that’s for sure...but there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel!
Speaking of leftovers..I still have a few Cocoa Bomb orders to get out..will try to accomplish that today!
Speaking of Bombs..Cocoa, I mean....I am proud to say we strongly surpassed our goal of 1000 Bombs reaching all Over The USA!
We had so much fun...if not some chocolate nightmares!
I need to put out a general but heartfelt thanks to all out there that placed orders and/or passed on our “Bomb” information!
And a specific thank you to Karie Jane Parsons for the great idea, the frame work, the silence behind the Bombs and the ongoing moral support!

Little House Outdoor Oven Sour Dough Pizza Story......
Jim and I both grew up with large families (combined 16 children) on separate sides of the state of Minnesota; both of us had Mothers that baked bread….a LOT of bread! Jim has enjoyed making bread for several years and has loved to share it with friends and family. About 17 years ago he started playing with Sour Dough and has been feeding that dough and his dream of providing fresh bread for others ever since. Jim also was dreaming of an outdoor wood-fired oven to bake the bread to achieve that additional wood-fired flavor. I gave him a book on building your own masonry oven several years ago for Christmas and he read that book from cover to cover for a few years as well as much additional research and a few sleepless nights. Additionally, with Jim’s professional knowledge for producing efficient heat and power--- from Naval Ships to Large Institutions—the project finally got underway in 2015. We started out with lots of experimenting with breads, pizzas and other fun things until we finally established “Rainy Days and Mondays-Sour Dough Baking Company and Pantry”. We were fortunate enough to have a little “Cottage” on our little farm in addition to the main house, which provided a space that we were able to make work for us to progress with our plans. While still undergoing some transformation, the “little house” has been an asset for the business. Jim continues to experiment with different types of breads, buns, rolls and novelties but our tried and true bread products are: White, Honey Wheat, Rawhide Rye, Italian and Cinnamon Raisin and buns. Our sweet breads are: Grandma’s Fingerlickin’, caramel pecan and cinnamon rolls. Extras include: garlic toast, seasoned croutons and bread crumbs. However, a summer “Pizza Night” is live every Saturday Evening~Fair warning ……..neither of us has a lick of Italian heritage—but we have had great reviews on the pizzas! Remember. “The Pantry” also offers some additional goodies: dips, preserves, gifts, handmade items, antiques and repurposed treasures. We are forever grateful to our kids, family (in-laws and out-laws) neighbors and friends who have generously offered their brains, backs, hands and hearts to help us with this endeavor! We welcome you to come and visit the “Pantry” see the “Oven”, the grounds and sample some of our homemade goodies!
