Hernando Resisters

Hey Hernando folks... Luciano Vignali for School Board District 3 is asking for our help. He's asking for volunteers to hang out at the early voting locations(see image in comments for locations), and help promote his message. Starting this week, August 8th on through August 15th, during the peak periods of 9-10:30am, and 4-6pm... He'd like for us to use his signs, and if you have something made up for him, you're welcome to use that as well. Give me a holler if you're interested, and we'll get it rolling for him!!!

We're Not Mad Enough... Kicking off at Mariner and Cortez Blvd in Brooksville FL from 10am-12pm on August 15th!!!

Mine started because I felt like more needed to be done in Hernando County to bring awareness to the damage this current administration is doing....I know I don't need to go into details, and list them for y'all.
I was angry because he became president again... I'm still angry..it never should have happened. I couldn't keep going to Tampa, and Pasco county, so, we started sign waving in Hernando back in February, when the war in Iran started..and we've been going ever since. Whether it was Wednesdays, or right now, every other Saturday..our next event, "We're Not Mad Enough" will be on August 15th, from 10am-12pm at Mariner and Cortez Blvd in Brooksville...join us!!!

West Hernando Branch Library is on the verge of closing and its future will be discussed at the upcoming BOCC meeting.
This would be a huge devastation to the community, as so many patrons consider that library a second home. If this goes into effect, there will be one less library in the county for families to enjoy.
Please consider attending the meeting Thursday, July 30th, or at the very least help spread the word!

Fear and Fascism discussion group field trip to Laurelhurst Park on July 25 from 1-3pm. Meet at the NW corner of the duck pond. BYO snacks, blanket/chair. We look forward to grounding and processing together.
