Do you know the difference between a rasterized layer and a vector format? A rasterized layer distorts as you increase its size reducing the quality of the picture…every photo your camera takes is a rasterized layer in photoshop. A vector format creates a shape that can be enlarged to any size even the size of a billboard without loss of quality. They take time to produce because custom shapes take awhile to get just right.

When thinking about a logo or a flyer for a show, its important to always give people time to become acquainted with it. Don’t have a logo designed last min then go about your business. Have the logo or flyer designed, but put them up everywhere tag a bathroom stall I don’t care. It’s important that people become familiar with your brand/the event you’re trying to promote…remember more visibility equals more revenue for you.
