Our June Mini- Tri is just around the corner! Join us on June 16th at 6pm at Medical Lake Waterfront Park for an open water swimming clinic followed by our mini tri then a team taco bar potluck!

๐Ÿšดโ€โ™€๏ธ IRONMAN 70.3 ATHLETES โ€” HAVE YOU RIDDEN THE COURSE YET?

Race day is coming fast!

Join us this Saturday for our supported Ironman 70.3 CDA Course Ride and take some of the uncertainty out of race day.

โœ… Learn the courseโœ… Practice your nutrition planโœ… Ride with other athletesโœ… Build confidence before June 21

๐Ÿ’™ Our support vehicle team will be available throughout the course with extra hydration, snacks, and assistance if needed.

๐Ÿ’™ Concerned about pace? Don't be. We have athletes of varying abilities participating, and one of our past 70.3 finishers will be riding with a few athletes planning a more relaxed pace. This is about building confidence and learning the courseโ€”not setting speed records.

๐Ÿ’™ Experienced athletes are welcome too! Come help us encourage and support those preparing for race day.

โš ๏ธ This is not a closed course. Please ride safely, obey all traffic laws, and wear bright, high-visibility clothing whenever possible. Much of the route is on open roads.

Then join us the following Sunday June 14th for our Transition Clinic + Mini Tri at City Park to practice transitions, get familiar with the race venue, and fine-tune your race-day routine.

The goal isn't fitness.
The goal is confidence. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ

Whether this is your first 70.3 or your tenth, we'd love to have you join us.

Join us for our new weekly โ€œno-dropโ€ road ride! Whether youโ€™re a seasoned cyclist or just getting started with group riding, all levels are welcome.

โ€ข Pace: No-Drop (15-30 mile distance)

Our May Mini- Tri is complete! We had an amazing turnout yesterday for our Transition Clinic and Mini- Tri (300yd swim, 10 mi bike, 3 mi run). Everyone finished and there were smiles all around.

Looking forward to our next Mini- Tri on June 16th at 6pm with an Open Water Swim Clinic before!

May 9th, 2026 at 12:00pm, Medical Lake Waterfront Park
300 yard swim, 10 mile bike, 3 mile run in and around Medical Lake

We begin with a transition clinic (approximately 1 hour) then will begin the triathlon once the clinic is finished.

We plan to have mini-tris at Medical Lake June 16th @ 6pm, July 25th @ 9am, and August 18th @ 6pm as well, so keep your eye out for more info!

All levels welcome โœจ Interested in trying out triathlons or Team Blaze? Fill out the form (linked in bio) and indicate your interest in participating in a Mini- Triathlon. There is a waiver included on the form that must be signed prior to participation.

Successful first day at Witterโ€™s 50m outdoor pool yesterday! Next swim practice is tomorrow.

We swim at Witter every Monday and Wednesday from 6:30-8pm.

Fuel + function + flavor โ€” this is one of my favorite go-to breakfasts when training hard and keeping inflammation in check.

These protein pancakes bring the muscle support and the gut support:

โœ… High protein for recovery
โœ… Oats + fruit for clean performance carbs
โœ… Yogurt or kefir for gut health (add after cooking to keep those probiotics alive)
โœ… No junk โ€” just real fuel

Pro tip: Cook the pancakes first, then top or mix in your yogurt/kefir after heating so you protect the beneficial bacteria that support digestion and inflammation balance.

Team Blaze absolutely lit up the Sarasota Half Marathon today, and the results were nothing short of incredible!

๐Ÿฅ‡ Victor Vizcaรญno, one of Team Blazeโ€™s powerhouse coaches, took FIRST PLACE in his age group with a blazing time of 1:43, completing race #46 of 50 on his legendary journey to conquer 50 half marathons in 50 states. Iconic. Determined. Unstoppable.

๐Ÿ’ฅ Savannah Jenkins of Team Blaze crushed her half marathon in 2:19, showing pure grit, strength, and heart from start to finish.

๐ŸŒŸ Crystal Billings completed her 10K in 1:30, proving once again that consistency, courage, and joy carry you across every finish line.

What an incredible day filled with sweat, smiles, and celebration. Now weโ€™re heading to triathlon packet pickup for tomorrowโ€™s race, riding high on gratitude, teamwork, and momentum.
