🌸 Just wrapped up the newest painting in my rustic fence series. I loved bringing the flowers and that soft evening sky together again—there’s something about this combo that just feels right to paint.
Appreciate you taking a moment to check it out.

WIP: Oil on canvas board
I'm pretty stoked on how this painting is coming along. I'm quite pleased with the shadows of the fence posts in the meadow - took me a bit to figure out how to do it without blending it all together and making mud.
What do you think?
🍂 New Abstract Landscape
Just wrapped up this oil-on-canvas-board painting. I was playing with fall color, reflections, and that hazy, in‑between weather that makes everything feel a little quieter. It ended up being a mix of structure and looseness, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
Thanks for taking a look — more work coming soon.

🌾 New Oil Painting Completed
Just finished this oil painting on canvas board, and I’m loving the quiet mood it carries. A weathered fence, soft evening light, and wildflowers pushing up through the grass — a little reminder of how much beauty lives in the in‑between places.
Thanks for following along on this creative journey. More pieces coming soon.

WIP: oil on board
I have big plans for this one that I hope I can pull off. I'm actually quite pleased with it so far with this two part painting.
PART A: The painting - I'm going to add some more fog to the treeline at the end of the path and then detail out the foreground, the walking path, and closer trees.
Then comes the fun part! PART B: I'm going to wait to explain that part until I'm closer to finishing.

Just wanted to share the progress on my latest oil on acrylic mixed media painting. I have applied all the techniques I've learned in the past year and I'm super proud of it. I just want to clean up the words in gold; make them a but crisper, and darken up the cracks in the skull again, but otherwise it's finished!
Love the detail in this!

Almost completed oil on canvas board.
This is the completed floral study from a previous post. It was a struggle to stay on track with painting shapes and shades, not a flower and petals. I found myself fixating on a pedal and would have to snap myself out of it. But all in all, I'm quite happy with the result. I especially love that lower petals and the form of it.
I plan to clean up the edge of the painting and maybe even paint the border in gold. But the flower is finite!

Work in Progress. Acrylic on black canvas: Underpainting.
I am revisiting floral compositions and feeling confident about this new painting thus far. I am pleased with the underpainting and intend to exercise restraint when adding oils to avoid overworking the piece. This will undoubtedly require discipline, as I have a tendency to overwork my art, particularly floral subjects. However, by focusing on shapes and tones in the underpainting, I established the dimensional foundation before proceeding with oils. I am hopeful that this approach will yield successful results.
