Helps-pital !
John 11:16 captures a powerful moment of loyalty and commitment:
"Then Thomas (called Didymus) said to the rest of the disciples, 'Let us also go, that we may die with him.'”
In this passage, Thomas expresses his willingness to follow Jesus to Judea, even if it means facing danger or death. His words reflect a profound willingness to sacrifice for the sake of love and loyalty—a willingness to be present with Jesus, even in the most challenging circumstances.
The spirit behind Thomas’s statement is the ultimate example of selfless help and love, as it calls for solidarity, courage, and a readiness to be present in others’ moments of need. This idea of sacrificial help and love could deeply influence the Helps-pital, guiding its programs and practices to embody selflessness, compassion, and a shared commitment to lifting each other up. hbjr
America and Church - Wake-up Call to Humility - Come on people now!
We live in a world where it’s often easier to judge others than to look honestly at our own hearts and actions. Jesus consistently called us to a love grounded in humility and truth, reminding us that love involves both grace and self-reflection.
The Call to Humility
Paul calls us in Romans 12:3 to "not think more highly of ourselves than we ought." This humility is foundational to genuine love, as it keeps us grounded and aware of our own need for grace. When we recognize our own imperfections, it becomes easier to approach others with compassion rather than judgment.
Humility reminds us that none of us is above correction or repentance. We are all on a journey of growth, and God’s love calls us to walk that journey with honesty, acknowledging our own struggles rather than focusing solely on the faults of others. hbjr
Truth is never defined or determined by what we believe or want!
Truth stands independent of personal beliefs, desires, or perceptions. It exists as an objective reality that doesn’t bend to our interpretations, emotions, or wishes. In other words, truth is grounded in what is, not in what we think or hope it to be. This factual principle has deep spiritual and physical applications, and practical implications. Human reasoning, emotions, and feelings cannot change truth. hbjr
Humans can't handle the truth!
In Christ there is no distinction between male and male. In Christ there is no distinction between female and female. In Christ there is no distinction between male and female. The truth of these statements are exactly the same for all three statements in Christ, but humans can't handle the truth! hbjr.
Everything is not about you!
To often we fail to understand that every thing that involves us is not about us.
We there is a problem and we become anxious or stressed, it is partly because we have made it directly about ourselves. We make the problem about us instead of about the problem.
Jesus said, do not worry about tomorrow, each day has enough trouble of its own, be anxious for nothing. We must realize that the problem may not be about me, therefore I need not make it about me but make it about the problem.
We must obtain the wisdom of detaching personal identity from the challenges or problems we encounter. When we make the problem about ourselves, it often amplifies anxiety, stress, and feelings of inadequacy.
By focusing instead on the problem itself, without attaching personal stakes to it, we can approach it more objectively and with a clearer mind. This aligns with Jesus' teaching, which encourages us to release worry and trust in God's provision, recognizing that each day has its own set of challenges but also the grace to meet them. hbjr

In the parable of the wise and foolish builders (Matthew 7:24-27), Jesus illustrates that a foolish person builds on the sand, while a wise person builds on the rock, a solid foundation. Use this to emphasize that when we follow God’s word, we build our lives on a strong, unshakeable foundation. hbjr
Amen! Stop in the name of love and "Don't be no fool!"
This is a powerful reminder to stay vigilant and grounded in truth. The world constantly tries to fool and pull us in with illusions of truth, success, comfort, and quick fixes, but we can’t let ourselves be fooled by appearances.
In Scripture, wisdom is often contrasted with foolishness, urging us to choose the path that leads to lasting truth over temporary satisfaction. By keeping our eyes on God’s truth and not on the shifting sands of worldly values, we arm ourselves with discernment. Let’s stay sharp, rooted in faith, and guided by divine wisdom—refusing to be swayed by anything less! hbjr
Right thinking is the right thing.
Worldly thinking tends to prioritize immediate results and visible outcomes, while God’s revelation often requires patience, faith, and a willingness to look beyond the surface. It reminds us that true understanding and wisdom come from a deep relationship with God, where we allow His Spirit to guide our decisions, clarify our thoughts, and keep us aligned with His purpose.
Letting go of worldly thinking in favor of divine wisdom requires a conscious, daily choice to stay rooted in prayer, scripture, and faith. This way, we guard ourselves against the deception that seeks to replace God’s truth with our limited human logic. hbjr
Don't be no fool!
Deception is one of the primary tools that can subtly lead us away from God’s truth. When we rely solely on our own reasoning, it’s easy to fall back into worldly thinking—focusing on material gains, personal logic, and self-reliance. However, God’s revelation offers a different perspective: a divine wisdom that often transcends human understanding and asks us to trust even when things aren’t fully clear. hbjr
Separate life and sin!
Better lives requires us to make teaching and exercising love and righteousness systemically, both personally and universally. A multi-layered approach is necessary because to many of the current ways are failing us miserably.
We need to teach love and righteousness intentionally, making them core parts of not just our families, but core parts of our politics, governments, schools, community programs, and even business practices.
People must understand that these values aren't just abstract ideals but practical ways of living that lead to prosperity and peace. hbjr
