 x started the journey at 4am at the Santa Monica Pier. 12 runners, 3 crew. 25-63 years old. Mostly from the Bay. All the feelings of TSP in one day:
🧭 excitement of the start
🚗 car mechanical issues
🔥 evacuated from Soledad Canyon due to Crown Fire adding another half marathon or so to the journey, but making new friends along the way
😤 40mph wind gusts and lots of climbing on the reroute
💪 coming back together and beginning to roll through the desert
