We fight fair with weeds here. This is a NO SPRAY ZONE. Pondering lately what defines responsible land stewardship. What we will leave behind. Chemicals that never forget or a blessing for the next generation.

Dexter cattle are lawn mowers. And similar to goats they eat weeds, leaves, branches and roots. RDR has created an ecosystem where grass stays trim, weeds stay nibbled, and manure gets dragged to fertilize the soil, where chickens peck bugs.

Favorite pastime on the ranch: Evening cow walks to where the grass is always greener 🌾🐂🌱

I got an awesome question from an awesome egg customer the other day

Q: Do you name your chickens and if so who is your favorite?

A: Hahaha that would be my son’s pet chicken Mammoth. We thought he was going to be our flock rooster but then… he identified as a hen and started laying eggs. My son refuses to accept it. So “his” name is Mammoth because he’s the hugest of them all and acts like a king. Wes says he’s the hen with no N 🤣😭🩵

RDR Rainbow Eggs 🌈 🪺

**Spring eggs are here! Waitlist is open**

What does it mean to be a regular egg customer and how does it work?

We DON’T just put eggs out in a self serve roadside stand for people to fight over or get frustrated finding an empty cooler or old eggs. We DO offer ongoing egg subscriptions either weekly or every other week to ensure that the eggs get distributed fairly, freshly, and in a meaningful quantity to a limited number of customers. This method takes a lot more effort in scheduling and communicating, but we know our customers like having eggs reserved just for them with easy routine pickup.

We put your eggs out usually by 9 am and send you a reminder text that it’s your day and your eggs are in the cooler on our porch. As always our eggs are clean and unwashed, so they DON’T need to be refrigerated and you can pick them up any time on your scheduled day. Leave cash (and your empty cartons) in the cooler, or send Venmo. If you need to miss a pickup no problem just let me know and I’ll offer them to waitlist.

The season is just beginning and I am currently working on my egg schedule. If you get on it early enough you will get assigned a day of the week for pick ups. Other option to buy eggs is by waitlist, first come first served.

Customers can choose carton size either 12, 18, or 24. RDR eggs are $10/dozen and our pickup location is conveniently located off 3 Lakes Road in Snohomish.
