This virtual event creates space for honest conversations surrounding two issues affecting women, families, and communities across the country: Domestic Violence and Breast Cancer.

It’s the last Tuesday of September, and before we rush into a new month, let’s have some Real Talk.

Didn’t accomplish everything you planned for September?

Give yourself GRACE. 💜

The goal you didn’t finish can roll into October.

The plan that got delayed can be restarted.

The boundary you’re still learning to set can be strengthened.
And the healing you’re working through doesn’t have an expiration date.

A new month doesn’t require a perfect ending to the old one.

As we close out Su***de Prevention Awareness Month, let this also be a reminder that sometimes choosing yourself means slowing down, asking for help, resting without guilt, protecting your peace, and recognizing that simply making it through a difficult season is an accomplishment too.

Today, choose YOU.
✨ Give yourself grace.
✨ Do something just for YOU.
✨ Release what you cannot control.
✨ Carry what still matters into October with intention.
✨ And don't allow fear to keep you from living the abundant life waiting for you.

Faith over fear. Always. 🙏🏾

There’s something powerful about being in a space with women who understand parts of your journey without you having to explain everything.

I’m currently looking for 8–10 female veterans who are interested in joining me for a women-centered group focused on connection, conversation, personal growth, and moving forward with intention.
This will be a space where we can show up authentically, share experiences, encourage one another, and have some REAL conversations about life beyond the uniform.

Sometimes we spend so much energy worrying about what might happen, replaying what already happened, trying to change people, explaining ourselves, or carrying things that were never ours to carry.

Imagine what could happen if you redirected that same energy.

💚 From worrying → to believing.
💚 From overthinking → to creating.
💚 From comparison → to growing.
💚 From proving → to becoming.
💚 From surviving → to healing.

Protecting your energy doesn't mean ignoring life's challenges.

It means being intentional about what gets your attention, your time, and your peace.

Today, ask yourself:
“Is what I'm giving my energy to helping me become the person I'm trying to be?”

If the answer is no, maybe it's TYME to redirect. Put your energy into.....

September 11, 2001 changed countless lives forever.

Twenty-five years later, we honor the lives lost, the families who continue to carry their memories, the first responders who courageously ran toward danger, and the military members, veterans, caregivers, and communities forever impacted by that day.

At Real Talk TYME, we understand that grief does not follow a calendar. Anniversaries can bring emotions back to the surface even decades later.

So today, before rushing into the responsibilities of the day, take a moment.

Pause. Remember. Reflect.

And perhaps one of the greatest ways we can honor those we lost is through how we treat those who are still here.

Choose compassion.
Choose connection.
Choose kindness.
Choose community.

Check on your strong friend. Call your family. Thank someone who serves. Extend grace where you can.

Because even 25 years later, there is something worth remembering beyond the tragedy:

Today, I'm thankful for growth!

The kind that teaches you that you don't have to shrink yourself, explain yourself, or negotiate your worth just to fit into spaces you've outgrown.

Real Talk TYME: Don't let small energy interfere with BIG blessings.

Not every comment deserves a response.
Not every disagreement deserves your energy. Not every room deserves access to you.
And not every opportunity is worth sacrificing your peace.

Sometimes growth looks like recognizing what no longer aligns with who you're becoming.

Your worth isn't negotiable.
You can be grateful AND have boundaries.
You can love people AND choose yourself.
You can forgive AND move differently.
You can be humble AND know your value.
You can thank God for where you've been AND recognize when He's calling you somewhere new.

On this Thankful Thursday, ask yourself:
💭 Am I giving too much energy to something small while God is trying to make room for something bigger?

Protect your peace.
Know your worth.
Stay aligned.
And make room for your blessings.

Because sometimes the blessing isn't getting what you wanted.
