After 23+ years, we have decided to blow the dust off of our instruments and revisit some of the best friendships and great times of our lives. Miss Sam and the boys. It was an awesome ride.
I just found out that my friend and former band mate Sam Freeman passed away last week. Sam was one of a kind. An amazing guitarist and even more amazing human. We had some awesome times on the road with The Southern Point Band. We were so fortunate to get back together a few years ago. You will be missed my brother!! 🤘❤️

Still reminiscing. LOL If you are a lucky musician, you will find a bunch of misfits who just seem to be musically connected on some weird level. This was that. :) I believe that this was the first rehearsal where we played this tune together. The sound was live on a cell-phone. Tone is everything.
After a 2.5 year reunion tour, the Southern Point band has decided to call it quits. We want to thank everyone who supported us over these past 2+ years. It has been so much fun reliving the good-ole-days with our band mates and we are so thankful to have had this opportunity. We are also so appreciative of all of our fans from back in the day who came out to see us play and to share in the reunion. Thank you again!
