Visiting Feelings
Visiting Feelings presents a playful lesson in how to process emotions by inviting all feelings in for a "play date."
Beautifully descriptive prose and delightful illustrations cultivate a message of mindfulness and emotional awareness to help children fully experience the present moment. Rather than labeling or defining specific emotions and feelings, Visiting Feelings invites children to sense, explore, and befriend any feeling with acceptance and equanimity. Children can explore their emotions with their sense

It’s never too early to start Visiting Feelings!
Visiting Appreciation
Received the loveliest note from fellow therapist Kelly Gordon, in response to my list serv post offering books I no longer use in my practice. We have never met, but not surprisingly discovered a connection.
I so appreciate hearing from parents and therapists who find the book helpful.
“I just wanted to say that I love your Visiting Feelings book! I have been working with children and adolescents for about a dozen years now and was just recently trained in EMDR. One of the trainers recommended your book when I said I'll be providing EMDR to young ones. I now have it in my regular rotation when introducing EMDR to kids. I bring both parent and child in the room and have the parent read the book to the child for connection and psychoeducation and then process the book and weave it into my introduction of the EMDR framework. I've received great feedback from the children and parents about the book. So thank you for this great resource! “
Thank you Kelly @
