I am a jewelry designer and amateur geologist. I love the many shapes and colors of natural gemstones. I post here and in my Etsy shop.

I've been creating jewelry since 2010. My pieces include wire wrapping, beading and Lampworking glass. All of my work is inspired by the beauty of gemstones and wood. I'm intrigued with Rainbow Moonstone and Labradorite because of their mystical blue depth within the stones. Another favorite medium are fossils. Ammonites, in particular, have beautiful natural structures and flashing colors. I can

Freshly twisted Number 8 turquoise asnd sterling silver pendant. Available tomorrow at Graham Mesa Elementary!

The Number Eight Mine in Nevada, located in Northern Nevada, is a now closed turquoise mine that has garnered a reputation for producing large quantities of top-grade turquoise. The turquoise found in this mine is highly sought after by many turquoise enthusiasts for its unique blue color with spider webbing and large pieces.

Due to the mine being closed, acquiring Number Eight Mine turquoise has become quite challenging, making it even more desirable to collectors and jewelry makers. The limited availability of this turquoise adds to its allure, as individuals are always on the lookout for exclusive and rare gemstones.

Own a truly exceptional piece of mineral history, from lapidary artist Ray Pohlkotte.

Designer cut and polished Chrysocolla, Azurite, and Malachite gem originates from the legendary Bluebird Mine, a source that was fully depleted in the 1970s. Material from this location is increasingly scarce, making this piece especially desirable for collectors and jewelry lovers alike.

The stone features a stunning natural blend of vivid blues and rich greens, expertly cut to highlight its unique patterns and color transitions. I’ve hand-wrapped it in **solid sterling silver**, creating a one-of-a-kind pendant that beautifully balances raw earth energy with refined craftsmanship.

No two pieces from this mine are ever the same—this is a truly unique creation that cannot be duplicated.

* Genuine Chrysocolla, Azurite & Malachite from the Bluebird Mine (depleted source)
* Designer-cut stone showcasing natural color contrast
* Hand-wrapped in sterling silver
* One-of-a-kind artisan piece

A rare opportunity to own a wearable piece of geological history.
