It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of one of our beloved members here at Christian Center. Mike Love went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, October 24th. He was battling cancer but walked with such peace and trust in the Lord throughout the whole process. Although he didn't receive his healing on earth, he is now fully restored and whole in heaven. Mike faithfully served the Body of Christ, and was generous with his time and resources. When Mike wasn't at home, he was here at Christian Center, always doing something. He would be outside watering the plants (even in the midst of the highest temperatures outside). He had a true servant's heart and was always a smiling face, greeting everyone. That man knew the Word of God and was an endless spout of scriptures!!! His signature "Heeeyyy, how you doin brother!?!" will be sorely missed. Mike, we celebrate you today in receiving your crown. You made it to the finish line!! Well done!!
A graveside only service is being held this Saturday, October 28th at 9 am at Forest Park East Cemetary. It is open to all who wish to attend. Location: 3700 St. Vincent Ave., Shreveport, LA 71103.

We released a prophetic word where Pastor Tim saw a vision of the Lords wrap around presence, Psalm 84 and Psalm 7:10. The Lord is wanting to remind us His presence will wrap around us as we go throughout our day. The Lord is wanting us to take refuge in Him during this season and the season to come. We can walk in His peace as we put our hope in Him. Let's pray and declare that His wrap around presence will be with us as we move throughout our day.

We are born for such a time as this. The time to stand and speak for the Lord has come. The Lord is looking to connect use to our purposes, Psalm 139:16.
