Realtor friends....question for ya'll....LOL Have ya'll touched base with the owners of any listings that you might have that have sat with no activity since all this covid mess started?? I haven't spoken to the realtor I have my place listed with since DECEMBER & was wondering if that's the norm??? LOL Maybe I'm wrong, but I was just thinking that realtors should just be touching base every so often?? Opinions, please.... :-) And now that I think about it, how often do ya'll touch base when we don't have a pandemic going on?? LOL
anyone tell me if Angel Tree gifts can be delivered today. no one is answering the phone
twice in my life, I have asked for assistance from SA and other places. I am considered a senior citizen, I am 55 and I am on disability. Recently I was in a fire and got no help at all. I lived in a storage building full of boxes until I moved here a few months ago. I use to work at a place run by the federal government and I learned some things. I believe and I may be wrong, you have to advertise hope and services that u don't have or are delayed in order to keep the doors open and keep your jobs. It is places that advertise quotes about God and claiming to be a Christian service and it is really a bunch of beaurocratic crap.
I enjoyed attending the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary tea today - I met a lot of nice ladies, learned a lot about what they do and enjoyed some wonderful refreshments. Thank you.
Thank you so much!!

Why You Can Be Sure ‘the Lord Is Close to the Brokenhearted’ (Psalm 34:18)?

The New Living Translation says, “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”

Eugene Peterson interprets this verse in the Message as, “If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there; if you’re kicked in the gut, he’ll help you catch your breath.”

We present to you a special lady in our command…Mary K. Edwards!

Dedication means a commitment to a purpose and best describes one of The Salvation Army of NW Louisiana’s top volunteers, with some 300 hours in the last two years alone. This devoted lady has a passion for our mission of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and meeting human needs in His name.
She proudly leads the Hallelujah Committee of the Women’s Auxiliary, seeking out ways to serve our homeless residents in the shelter.
This outstanding volunteer spends many hours assisting our staff with the
Angel Tree program each year.
She loves our Saints Alive Seniors at the Corps and leads them in Bible Study devotions, and meaningful and useful arts and crafts projects, and is very active in our Women’s Ministry programs.
