That one leap lead to me being booked to speak on platforms that I never dreamed of! 🙏🏽

I took my extensive finance and banking knowledge and committed to helping women heal and change how they connected, communicated, and showed up in their professional and personal lives. 🙇🏽‍♀️

It wasn’t until I had destroyed you that I heard your cry; it wasn’t until I dismembered your heart that I realized you were soft underneath that hard core-shell; it wasn’t until I drew blood that I knew you truly could feel something. Betty Wright didn’t tell us that after the pain and the un-forgiveness, you transcend to a place of numbness where even your closest loved ones forget that you are still human with feelings and desires that are shackled and chained. You are crying for help SILENTLY wishing someone would look back to see if you are okay, or are you putting on your “I am strong” façade again🙄. You were only as strong as your weakest obsession, and your desire to become more “human” didn’t mesh with your actual reality. Here you sat madly at the world, blaming others for your disfunction, but had you just realized the power that you craved you already possessed, you would have learned one vulnerable cry out “in Jesus name” was indeed all that you needed to see your chains broken and your power released on PURPOSE 🙌🏾. familiar???Are you tired of suffering from pain while you move in silence? Please order your copy of my book, Purposeful Pain Today!Link in @coachlaurenj bio....

Say this with me "I will become but learning to enjoy what I have right now 🙏🏿🙌🏿

During my time by the lake sometime , a question arose. Have you been loved the way you desired to be loved? ⠀⠀Have you been able to Love fully? Have we settled with just okay love, for one reason or another? ⠀⠀⠀Maybe because of brokenness, not understanding what love is, or never seeing a real example. I can honestly say that I haven't been loved the way I desired to be loved...

🤗🤗 Guess what ???

We become attached, and yes, even attracted to what’s familiar to us because it is within the familiar that we know who to be. We know how to get our needs met. It is there that we have a history of survival. A history of enacting whatever defense mechanisms we needed to make sure we felt safe. 💜What attachment does is it allows us to have some semblance of control. It helps us stay regulated given the looming “threat” of uncertainty. And so we build a fantasy around what and who we become attached to that allows us to play a familiar role within it so we can feel safe, significant and worthy. It is in the uncertainty that our survival programs and defense mechanisms become active. We are actually addicted to the feeling of certainty, because it helps regulate our nervous system. But here’s the catch:What we’ve learned or taught ourselves that regulates our nervous system, and is especially true for those who have a history of repressing emotions or have endured trauma of any kind, might just be a pattern of repeating familiar but unhealthy coping strategies like become attached/addicted to drugs, alcohol, sex, food, validation, escape, social media, self-sabotage, and most definitely people and relationships… to create that sense of safety.Breaking attachments, or “letting go” requires a jump into the unknown - a place where we have no confirmed coping strategy. This throws us into a state of dysregulation which seems like a threat to our survival, in which case we will start having withdrawals. There is a way to heal not just from our attachments, but also from what caused them. And that requires a safe, co-regulated space for us to navigate the uncertainty. A place to stay regulated while we do the work.Does this resonate? 👇🏾Comment below! My journey began when I started to heal and re-engage the feminine parts of me ..I wanted to enjoy while I accomplished. To relate, as I realized...To slow time down as I achieved my potential. To take opportunities for dinners with friends while taking chances in my business. To receive help from others while being in the service of my family and community...I wanted to make time to 'be' with life while 'doing" purpose after unnecessary pain. I encourage the spread of support and love for women every day! More to come from me @coachlaurenj this month!Tag unique and strong women you want to celebrate today and every day below. We want to celebrate her too!

“Sometimes, you have to be willing to get over YOU, so that you can get OVER IT!”-CoachLaurenJ

So many times on this purpose journey I have had to ask myself, “do you want to be right about a person OR right with the person?” 🥴🥴

The angry me wanted to be right because that’s easier and gratifying 🥴🥴. As I reflect back today, I would say the hardest part of “getting over it” came when I had to acknowledge that I needed to FIRST get over myself! 🥴🙄
Yep, you read it right I didn’t want to let go of MY dreams, MY goals, and MY vision for MY life. I was living for me🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️…ohhh the tragedy🥴🥴🥴. Here is the success story, today everything about that same statement sounds crazy to me🤣🤣🤣. Wheewww the growth🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾!

I was reminded this morning in my @elijahjfrazier voice, “that someone else needed my win!”👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I have met so many “someone else’s” on this journey of Purposeful Pain that it literally leaves me in awe!😭😭So you see me winning know that the “SOMEONE ELSES” are WINNING TOO! 💪🏽💪🏽

Allow the coach in me to leave you with these two questions:

1). What would your life look like if you just got over you first? 👀👀👀👀👀
2). What would it mean to you finally be able to get over “it”??🙌🏾😎

If you are ready to find out 👀👀…. click the link in my bio and book your Transformational consultation today and don’t forget to grab your copy of my book “Purposeful Pain: Give Me Your Isaac”…. On Purpose!

Repost from @coachlaurenj10

“Learn to be in demand, but never on demand!”👏🏾👏🏾-CoachLaurenJ

In my tenure of transformational coaching, I have found a recurring theme that all of us at sometime or another has struggled or is currently struggling with. This theme is called “on demand” (not Directv)😂

Although, none of us are a cable provider we can often times find ourselves operating like one. Being that culture wants most things quick, easy, and cheap even if it’s at the expense of others. I’m sure some of us have been apart of this awful competition to win the “on demand” prize called dependability. How many times have you said, “I am available” but emotionally you really weren’t😳…OR how many times have you agreed to something that your heart truly wasn’t in just to satisfy the other person’s request🥴.

Now, how much would it mean to you if the “on demand” people in your life asked you, “how could they be of support to you and your dreams?”. MANNNNNN just dreaming about this moment brings me joy😂🙌🏾, but these types of questions are mostly found asked by coaches.

Well, as a recovering “on demand addict” I have already spent 2022 making the hard decisions to say “No, I’m unavailable” or address the repeat offenders with a gentle yet firm response, “that in this season my focus is to serve people, who are “IN DEMAND” for life transformation.

I’m sure by now you are wondering how do I get to this place👀👀👀???? Well, this is how I started…

1. Create barriers to keep you from “on demand” tactics. I.e. I have 2 phones(1 for business & 1 for personal) I place one or both on silent in a room away from me, so that it takes away the opportunity for me to become “on demand.”🥴

2. I express to my clients/family/friends when I am taking intentional quiet time away this includes me investing in solo vacations😎.

3. Being that I am a coach that provides transformation everyday through conversation, I would be remiss not to invest in myself! So I am a coach with a coach😎

If this resonated with you drop a 💯 in the comments! If you want to leave this life, DM me “I’m READY!”
