All graduates and former students having attended at least one full year are automatically members.

Head Coach Pete Matter ’74 and Assistant Coach Scott Po***ck ’89 have made history by leading Cistercian Preparatory School (Irving, TX) to its first-ever SPC state championship! Both Matter and Po***ck were four-year tennis players for Centenary College and have been coaching together at Cistercian since 2019.

Maegan Shanks '11 has been awarded the 2024 National Academy of Education/Spencer Dissertation Fellowship. The fellowship program’s goal is to encourage a new generation of scholars from a wide range of disciplines to pursue work related to the improvement of education. Only 35 researchers are selected annually for the award, which includes a stipend of $27,500, two professional development retreats facilitated by scholars, and mentorship.

More than 700 Centenary College students returned to class on Monday, August 26, representing the College’s largest enrollment since 2011. New academic programs such as kinesiology and sports management, along with established strengths in biology, business, and music, are attracting more students to the nearly 200-year-old college.
