We were told twice by the service rep that our Q7 TDI water pump repair would be repaired under warranty. We drove from Texas with two cars as we would have to leave the car there to be repaired. I took off work, drove a few hours there, and am later told (after a lot of confusion on their part) it was not covered under warranty. They clearly made a mistake and that happens. However, they refused to compensate in any way for our time lost and the expense of driving two vehicles there for something I could fix locally in Texas (much cheaper) if it was not covered under warranty.
Also, the check engine light was on and quite possibly due to a TDI emmissions issue. That was not addressed.
This is an Audi dealership (and Porsche), not a Daihatsu used car dealership, and one would expect them to at least own up to their mistake and attempt in some way to rectify it. But no, not at Audi Shreveport.
Beware of these folks. After checking them out on Yelp, it seems this is not an isolated incident.
