Mimic Rabbitry

This last weekend at Belton, September 11 and 12th it was a great show and we had quite a bit of fun.. even though the power went out at one point and the air was being a bit funky! 🤣 but hey my Jrs got shown so! Despite not very many wins I got a buck registered and turned in his legs to be granded and got great comments on some Juniors! We were exhausted after the show so didn’t get pictures til I was at home. Stryder even wanted to be a Himalayan for pictures..

“Your turn is that way my friend”
Oh he’s had such a long day of being a bunny lazing around in a cage all day, so he’s exhausted! ( he’s ears don’t normally do this promise! )

When your trying out a new hay.. I guess he likes it! Some of the others are jumping for joy like it’s the best thing they’ve ever had 🤣

Not sure what this escape artist is up to..

Himalayan babies are doing super well so far! I’m so exited to see what they may grow into! But on another note I’m going to be posted some harlequin babies this week.. and maybe a mini lop or two that are looking to hop!

The Himalayan babies are doing so great! I believe all 6 will be black at this time but who knows! They are still super young! Their Dam is chocolate and Sire is black

Friday morning I went into my bunny room to find 6 himi babies!! We’re so excited to see what happens with them!! We wanted to delay this post to just make sure their mom would care for them due to her being a first time mother but so far she’s done well!

Anyone need chocolate magpie bucks.. Weened a litter of 7 yesterday.. 6 bucks 1 doe which is of course my luck! Got 3 pretty “showable” babies though at least that’s what they look like right now! Might take some name ideas for this buck..

Nothing like trying to do morning feedings and Mama’s boy shoves his face in your way for attention.. you know, maybe my mom did spoil him too much ( rabbit in photo is Mimic’s Thunderbird )

Himalayan babies loading..? She’s due this Thursday so we will see!
