al: We believe education needs to be an authentic process —relevant and contextual— to to engage students in learning that is modeled after professional disciplines, developing habits, as well as a work ethic. In opposition to existing standardized, prescriptive, and lockstep cookie-cutter models, our approach helps people acquire knowledge more naturally that is more relevant to the real world. Diversity: We celebrate diversity as the ingredient that, when embraced individually and collectively, allows for innovation, cultural exchange, intellectual expansion, and civil discourse. Equity: We believe in people’s equal access to opportunity as a means to achieve social justice. Empowerment: We believe that our education should help people grow by developing meta-cognitive and critical-thinking habits. We understand individual evolution as a transformative and infinite-yet-measurable process. Community: We believe that our community is a joyful environment, where humane interaction is part of an evolving participatory culture. In that sense, we have created a positive space in which students, teachers, and families are collaborative, engaged, and committed. Passion: We believe that people learn best when they are passionate about what they learn and the way they learn it. We are passionate unequivocally in what we do and are deeply passionate about our role in the community. We understand education is a powerful instrument that can positively impact people’s lives, giving them an
intellectual and emotional balance and a sense of fulfilment.
