SASD 2025 Seniors... Your senior year is about to start within the next month. Please check out the Sheboygan Public Education Foundation (SPEF) Scholarships (www.spefwi,org) that are being administered this year. There will be some changes to some scholarships, some new ones, etc...BUT it is never too early TO START your 2025 SPEF Scholarship Application, Character Reference Form, Essays, Letters of Recommendation, etc.. The sooner your start, the easier it should be in February! Remember, the SPEF Scholarship deadline for 2025 is Friday, February 21, 2025 BY 4 p.m..

SPEF's 21st Annual "All In For Education-Texas Hold'em" is set for Friday, Nov. 1, 2024...Registration is now OPEN. Check out SPEF's webpage at www, spefwi.org and REGISTER TODAY! Also, the Grand Raffle prize this year is a $1,000.00 Kwik Trip Gas Card - sponsored by O'Hare Wealth Management Group. The night includes other side games, Silent Auction, dinner, snacks, and FUN; all supporting public education in Sheboygan.

Congratulations to the 67 SPEF Scholarship recipients who received 95 SPEF administered scholarships...over $1.216 Million.... on May 15 at the Stephanie H. Weill Center.

Family, Friends, Relatives, and General Public are INVITED to SPEF Scholarship Night May 15, 2024...Just a reminder that SPEF Scholarship Recipients who were invited to SPEF Scholarship Night on May 15, are more than welcomed to bring along Family, Relatives, Friends, and General Public to the "Celebration" at the Stephanie H. Weill Center. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the scholarship presentations start at 6 p.m..

The Sheboygan Public Education Foundation (SPEF) notified and invited all selected 2024 SPEF Scholarship Recipients to SPEF Scholarship Night on May 15, 2024, via their school email & a letter sent to their home addresses on May 1, 2024.

There may be one or two additional scholarships that will be awarded within the next week, so seniors, please check your school emails.

SPEF is asking all recipients who received an invite to read and follow the instructions to notify SPEF that you will be attending SPEF Scholarship Night on May 15, 2024.

SPEF would like to THANK ALL SASD Seniors who submitted SPEF scholarship applications. SPEF received 1,710 applications from 234 seniors for the 58 different SPEF Administered Scholarships.

SPEF will inform scholarship recipients NO LATER THAN MAY 6 and invite them to SPEF Scholarship Night on Wednesday, May 15 at the Stephanie H. Weill Center.

Please check your "school email" for the invitation. An Invitation Letter will also be sent to your home address.

The Sheboygan Firefighters Charitable Trust is offering a $1,000.00 scholarship for THIS YEAR"S graduating seniors. The deadline for students to submit information is Friday, April 5, 2024 by 4 p.m.. Students need to follow the SPEF Scholarship Procedures...all found on the SPEF website (spefwi.org) under the Scholarship Link.

SPEF 2024 Scholarship Update... Final numbers are in after one week of organizing every application. THANK YOU to the 245 Seniors who applied for at least one SPEF Scholarship--for a total of 1,710 applications! 137 seniors from North, 97 from South, 12 from Charters, 6 from County. SPEF scholarship selection groups and donors will now be reading each application in the next two months. SPEF Scholarship Night is Wednesday, May 15 at the Stephanie H. Weill Center. Scholarship recipients will be notified by SPEF if they have received a scholarship and be invited to attend the May 15 celebration. Good luck to all seniors who wrote a SPEF application.

2 days to go...SPEF Scholarship Deadline. Make sure your ONE SPEF Application is completely filled out AND SIGNED by student and parent. Turn in ONE high school transcript. Turn in ONE ACT Test scores. Turn in ONE SPEF Character Reference Form. Turn in specific scholarship items (letters of recommendation, lists, essay, etc...whatever is asked for that scholarship. No staples. Do not alter the essay page title or directions or layout...write in the space provided. Deadline is tomorrow...Friday, February 23, 2024 by 4 p.m. at 605 North 8th Street Suite 214..that's on the second floor! Take elevator to 2nd floor and follow the arrows!

If the office door is not open, just slide your application envelope through the mail slot in the door. Make sure your name and school's name is on the outside of the envelope.
