For those wondering what due diligence means in South Carolina real estate: it’s the time period after a contract is signed when the buyer completes inspections, reviews documents, and does all their homework on the property. It’s a critical window where negotiations can happen and both parties make sure everything is solid before moving forward. I always tell clients not to celebrate a contract until after due diligence ends. These days, a contract doesn't mean much until we make it thru this critical stage. Whew!!

Making it through due diligence is a huge milestone in any transaction — and we did it! Onward to closing day!

This sweet couple decided to build a beautiful home in Pendleton, so after we put a contract together for their new build, they ultimately chose to sell their lot in Stillwater.
