Well mini dirt cup is over and thank god becuase I’m wore out. The day started out a little rough the car did t wanna stay running but we got her out on hot laps and she set her fastest time yet at 11.9 we did some carb work before the heat thanks to Paul hoppe for the help. Ashly was on pole for the heat and held off some really fast drivers trying to run her over and she came across the finish line in first. That win was her first first place ever and it set us up front row on the outside she got railroaded to 4th on the start and held it for about 5-6 laps then another car decided to dump her onto the inside wall and she had to go to the back. She couldn’t get around the 7th place car as he kept coming down on her in turn 1-2 even with her at his door we ended the day in 8th but took 5th overall for The Weeknd not a bad run we will work on the car and get it faster for next race. Well it was the first day of mini dirt cup and it was a hot one. We threw a dirt setup at the car this time since she’s apparently been running an asphalt setup all season. Car did really good handles a lot better still need to figure out how to get more speed but it’s better. Ashlyn ran her fastest qualifying time at 12.8 which put her 5 in qualifying and started her 3rd in the first heat. She went out and drove an awesome race on a new faster line and came home in second for the heat. That put her starting 3rd in the main and she went out and held her line the whole race even with a faster car breathing down her neck and she ended up on podium again in 3rd place. We will be back out again tomorrow to finish off the mini dirt cup weekend. Good day at the track need to rebuild the rear shocks and get the car off the ground more so she can keep some speed but Ashlyn was able to wheel herself onto the podium again for another 3rd place finish

Getting the car all dialed in and loaded up for tomorrow it’s gonna be warm so if ur coming out to watch. Bring some shade and some fluids

Unfortunately Yeti Racing will not be racing this weekend as we have a graduation to celebrate and Ashlyn choose to go to that instead. But we will be back next week to kick up some clay

Well we had race number 2 today and it was a hot one. The mor ing stereo off with the track being really muddy and soft. We qualified 4th still haven’t got the gearing dialed in but we’re close. Heat race was a bumper car match and we finished 4. We started 4th in the main and after some tough battling and more bumper cars ashlyn managed to work her way into 3rd and hold off one of the faster cars he tried it all to get around her but just couldn’t pull it off. We will take a hard earned 3rd place any day but we’re aiming for that top spot.

Well the day started off good Ashlyn was driving really good and got into the top 5 in qualifying. Unfortunately that put her with the faster more experienced kids
We started off in 4th in the heat but she got stuck on the outside and ended the race in 5th which started us off in the back of the pack in the main. She got into some trouble when the 2 cars in front of her on lap 2 made contact forcing her down into the wall and she got on top of it. We restarted in the back and she did the same thing with no help this time. About 6 laps later she got into the turn 3/4 wall and spin again and unfortunately was disqualified for to many spin out. She had a slight meltdown but we got it handled. We will be back next week. To try again she can only get Better and faster will try to post some vids later once I download. Thank you to our sponsors
