The Sparkle Squad is a women-led private military contractor operating from a bedazzled, bubblegum-pink offshore oil rig off the coast of West Africa.
Their arsenal includes rhinestone-studded weapons, glitter bomb flashbangs, enchanted ancient artifacts recovered from unsanctioned archaeological digs, alongside a tactical animal program consisting of hawks, owls, and “stealth rabbits”.
All contracts are evaluated by a five-member ethics board using a single proprietary metric: “Will this make the world a little more sparkly?”, which has earned them a surprisingly principled reputation in the defense sector.
However, a leaked UN report suggests that their operational budget is almost entirely subsidized by what investigators are calling “the largest undocumented rhinestone trafficking network in the Southern Hemisphere.”
