Four-time Tony Awards winner, including Best Musical, Schmigadoon! is the best reviewed new musical of the season and a The New York Times Critic’s Pick. PRG is supporting the production with lighting and audio.

Featuring lighting design by Don Holder and sound design by Walter Trarbach, the production utilizes more than 250 lighting fixtures and marks Broadway’s first use of PRG’s GroundControl® Multi system. The show also features an A/B sound system with two electrically isolated signal paths from microphone to speaker.

Five days. One holiday weekend. A custom scenic build from concept to festival stage.

When Brandy performed at Roots Picnic in Philadelphia, the set featured a custom oversized boombox and staging elements fabricated by PRG Scenic. Awarded just before Memorial Day, Project Manager Tabitha Wimsett coordinated closely with production manager Chris Gratton and designer Chase Hall to redesign, fabricate, paint and deliver the project in just five shop days.

In-house 3D printing and a careful selection of materials allowed the team to meet an accelerated festival timeline while preserving the creative vision.

PRG recently hosted a camera training at the National Western Center, led by our own Kenny Kato. Attendees sharpened their technical skills and gained practical experience working with cameras in a live production environment.

Another remarkable Broadway season comes to a close, and PRG is proud to support Tony-nominated productions across lighting, audio, video, scenic and automation.
