Laying out new drip tube line for French Charentais melons. Then transplanted 44 Charentais.
Another row has Hale's Jumbo cantaloupe .
Hearts of gold cantaloupe.
Crane melons transplanted and next to them is the Milan cantaloupe row.
Total melons transplanted today was 212.
We have 18 rows available for melons. Each row 125 feet long. 33-50 plants per row depending on varieties.
Lot more to plant, but going to save some for tomorrow.

Pulling Vidalia onions out of one bed.
Ten days ago they were green stocks, now bent over and drying.
About half will go to drying room, the rest will come to the Farmers market this Saturday (Farmers Lane Plaza ) and Sunday (Windsor Town Green).
Sweetest onions we have ever grown.
The Spanish Roja garlic is showing a lot of scapes, as well as the milder Purple Italian.
If you're brave enough we have some very spicy German Red Garlic scapes to pick for Saturday market. Just a few pounds.
First Golden Beets are going to make an appearance.
Lots of Little Gem lettuce, Spinach, Arugula along with Chard,Kale, Collard greens.

First picking of garlic scapes.
Today we are going with Purple Italian scapes. Mild at only 4 times stronger than regular garlic.
