Farming runs deep in my family, dating back to our Ukrainian relatives who were beet farmers in the early 1900's.

My sister Emily caught the farming bug early on, but as a Ta**us I was always a little wary of tough physical labor. 😜

🌸During the peak of the pandemic I left my corporate product developer job to help my sister out on her new flower farm. Before I knew it, I was the last one in the fields after dusk and embracing a simpler life focused around family, health and nature. 🌸

🌸The cycles of life and death on the farm mimicked cycles in my own life, and after suffering a serious injury in 2021, I knew it was time to restart. How can I spread the love, joy, and serenity that I find every day on this land and with these plants to the people that I love most in my community? This was a question I sought to answer in beginning 8 Days.🌸

🌸Harvested every year at peak potency from our California-based farm, the ingredients we infuse into the 8 Days products are filled with potent botanical compounds that quite literally change the way you feel- scientifically- but also I believe, spiritually. The rose garden sits at the bottom of our valley, next to the lavender, and is truly one of the most peaceful places on our land. Another day in the life 👩‍🌾

Most days, being a business owner means wearing 10,000 hats at once. I wake up a farmer, I start work as a CEO, I eat lunch and I'm a marketer, and by 4pm I'm on the tractor- a farmer again! 👩‍🌾

Its takes a lot to run a business- and some days are easier than others- but I wouldn't trade it for anything. For me, its pretty fun to do so many different things every day, and I never know what might come next! Most recently, I was learning about trademark law- didn't quite become a lawyer- but learned more than I wanted to- ha! But hey thats a story for a different day! 🤪

Do you know the difference between body butter and lotion?
