When thinking about ways to enhance your wedding or event, it’s often the details that tell the story.

It’s one of my favorite parts of planning a wedding because the smallest details often leave the biggest impression.

Sweet ceremony at Parson’s Garden, on this glorious day!

This is not pretty or polished. Before the pretty and polished copy goes out, this is where we start. A planner behind the scenes prior to the BIG DAY, does so much prep work, thinking, visualizing, working out the potential kinks. Can a couple do this? Sure-of course they can. But do they have the time? The resources, experience with doing a wedding where this one detail was worked out? Not to mention the timeline and the multiple drafts, the emails back and forth with vendors to get it all right, decor task of making sure you have everything you need, quantities and logistics on how it will be executed. So many DETAILS. There is only so much time. Most couples both work so that takes out at least 50-70 hours out of your week. Then you have life happening all around you. This is why a planner is so invaluable. They keep everything in motion. You get updates and have the peace of mind you are being taken care of and supported. It’s really everything. Received a text from the bride on wedding day:

“I can’t find my vow book.”

A quick stop for a backup option, a photo sent for approval, and I was on my way.

By the time I arrived, she had found the original.

No emergency. No stress.

Just one more reminder that preparation and backup plans matter.
