Join us next week when Habitat Seattle meets Proton Radio for a little something we call Proton Amplified. Now more than ever, I feel the call to lift each other up, to amplify all that is good and pour my energy into inspired actions that generate the frequencies of love, gratitude, kindness and compassion to name a few.
The Proton Amplified initiative is an ever-evolving platform showcasing artists historically marginalized by the music industry, including but not limited to women, BIPOC (people of color) and LGBTQIA+ folks. Discounted Presales are available now! I hope you'll join our community next Wednesday as we do the work curating sounds for your ears to enjoy and to move you mind, body and soul.

Your chance to have your copy is now a reality

Thrilled to share the latest track from blackvelveteen ! Below is her describing the journey of this track. Earlier this year, I set a goal to get a few original tracks out. I’m happy to say this is my second track of the year. I learned a lot more about Ableton and working with Push 2. What emerged was a something I’m proud to release on August 14, my mother’s birthday. I think of her when I hear this and everything she meant to me and how she encouraged me in all that I did. She’s no longer with us however her spirit is always with me. The words have special meaning and the style of music is reminiscent of the music she enjoyed. It’s funny how the creation of this track evolved. I didn’t know where it would lead and I’m so happy with the finished product.
