Visit me at the Gardeners' Corner and buy beautiful gnarly hyper tufa troughs planted with choice native and rare ornamental plants. Other good stuff, too--live music, beer garden, pie auction, silent auction, wine grab, beautiful vegetable and flower gardens to tour.

This home is in a planned development in Northeast Snohomish County, that was carved out of native forest and wetlands. The owner realized the futility of acres of lawn on slopes and in boggy areas. A combination of adaptable ornamentals and many native plants were designed.

The client wanted improved connections from her house to the garden. Multiple levels and slopes made unifying the area complex. It was challenging and fun to figure them out.

Wish I could return to this project to see how it has matured. I would love to take refuge in the garden shelter when it rained.
The clients wanted a sturdy structure for their daughter's reading hideaway, which can later become a vegetable
gardener's hideaway.
