Big Day! Clickfarm (Sandman Theory Remix) is out! Go Listen on all the streaming platforms.

When producing the original at the Fuzzy Lounge studio I knew this one needed a slamming remix. Well here it is!

This one is a wild half-time LCD Soundsystem style verse that builds into a hard drum & bass chorus. Lots of Sequential Pro One, Roland JP-8000, Access Virus, and more analog goodness went into this one!

Thank you for collaborating with me to deliver this one. Thanks for supporting the release! Give it a spin!

Got after a full recap and filter chip replacement of my Mutronics Mutator last weekend. It was extra noisy on the left side and filter chip was creating strange cutoff behavior. Now fully locked in and ready for 30 more years of service. For me this is my holy grail Analog Low Pass Filter. Sounds so vibey and can do super cool left right panning filters with LFO modulation. It is a rare unit from the 90’s only about 1000 units made. Uses a special unobtainium SSM2045 analog filter chip that was in the E-Mu Emulator. The Mutator filter was made famous by Massive Attack, Daft Punk, and Radiohead. Lots of cool modulated filter sound through this unit heard on Mezzanine, Discovery, and OK Computer albums.

Got this note today from a fan in the UK and it absolutely made my day! Vinyl is 75% sold out so if you want in on the first pressing this is your last chance. Link in bio.

Started off the holiday break with a Roland Jupiter 6 Mod! My buddy Masa came over and he, Dylan and I got after it.

We modded the two capacitors in the VCA audio path to help take away some of the ugly clicky alias sounds you typically get with envelope 2 with the JP-6. Not too hard to accomplish and it sounds great! Still got the nice edgy vocal vibe that you hear at the start of this song Sandman Theory - Hypnotized.

We decided to not do the VCF Reso mod as the filter has a special sound that is too iconic to change IMO. Now the synth is much easier to program sounds (wider usable range in the VCA) and a little more hifi (a little more bass and clear in the top end). My JP-6 has the Tauntek MIDI mod, grounding fix, and the VCA mod. The best combo for this synth IMO. Time for some new music with the beast!

Thanks for the unbelievable year. I am super grateful for all the listeners of my music. Honestly I wasn’t sure people would like my tunes. I knew my head was bobbing in the studio, but it’s not clear until you take a leap and push your art out in the world if it will resonate with others too. The Fuzzy Lounge Sessions brought in over 145K stream! Way above my wildest dreams. However the very best part of releasing music into the wild this year was hearing from fans. Many of you reached out to tell me your positive experience with the record, sent videos of my vinyl spinning in your living room, or just sent love. Thank you!

Finally restored my Dad’s 1970’s Nakamichi 700 tape deck! 🙌 Took 3 years, 4 separate attempts, 7 tricky belts, 100+ Q tips, a can of deoxit, a second 700 unit for parts, and so much patience. So worth it! It sounds so incredible. This deck was my first experience with hifi back in kindergarten. My Dad let me listen to his tape collection through this amazing machine in our coat closet, and it changed my life, nurturing a love for music and hifi from a very young age. Never can forget those amazing lit up VU meters with the lights off. Happy to have it back in action so my boys can enjoy it too!
