Due to the last year we have taken some time off from this page to recover our mental health. I am currently in the process of seeking some new admins for this page to post some content while I navigate some health issues. If anyone is interested in being a mod, please direct message me so I can conduct an interview. This is not a paid position, we follow a strict code of not giving out advice as we are not professional therapists and we hold no responsibility for any outcomes outside of this page. I am seeking someone who is pro lgbtqia, anti racism, and can remain objective without judgement, as well as someone who will communicate with me about ideas before changing anything. Artists are welcome, photographers are welcome, and anyone who loves to love. Thank you for your time!

In loving memory of the founder of this page: Dakota was a free spirit with a huge personality. I *savvy* met dakota at the age of 12. He was chaotic, loud, goofy, full of life and energy and not the kind of kid you would predict having a support page for fighting depression. And yet, sometime during his late teens/early 20s he woke up and decided he wanted to help others battle their depression. He asked me to join as his co-founder and I agreed. It was something I just couldn't pass up. And now here we are, it's 2024 and there are 10,000 of you and Dakota has left this world behind. His passing was not depression related as he had finally reached a place of joy and peace, internally despite the many challeges he faced. Dakota was my choas companion and one of my best friends. So today, please join me in saying goodbye to our founder, my friend, one of the most complex and beautiful people I've had the honor of knowing. Dakota, you will be missed. He is survived by his mother and sister as well as extended family.

With every end comes a beginning. Many of us find depression is more active in us than ever before. It is important to reach out when you can. Most counselors are doing online sessions or phone visits these days. Take advantage of that and have a counseling session from your bath or in your robe. Skip the shower and I promise your therapist won't notice if you haven't changed your shirt in a few days. Take care of yourself. There is only one you in the world. -Savvy

These photos were taken two minutes apart. On one side the sky is dark, on the other it is light. Things may get cloudy, but the sun will always find it's way back to you. What are things you do to get through the darkness? -Admin Savvy
