To everyone who has enjoyed or spent time in Café Cosmos. It is with a heavy heart that we must announce that our last day of operations will be Tuesday 7/23/2024. Like many of you, we know how special this place is and we are devastated to have to close our doors. We would like to thank you for your years of patronage and all the love you have shown the café and its staff. Even if you've only stepped through our doors for a moment to enjoy the atmosphere you are appreciated.

Poet Amanda Gorman celebrates the gift of Blackness for Juneteenth To mark the holiday, Gorman reads "Fury and Faith," a poem from Call Us What We Carry. She says her collection's title reflects how "we all can be vessels of both hurt and hope at the same time."
